Discover Movie Magic
Feb 8th
I don’t know if you remember this TV Show, but few years ago, when I was a kid, this is how I discovered the magic world of Special Effects for Films. I was so a huge fan of this show that watched it again and over again. In French, the name was “Le cinéma des Effets Spéciaux”
Today, I just wanted to look back at it, and offer you some videos about the show I found on the internet.
I’d really like to have them on DVD, but it never released…
You’ll find a Page on this blog named Movie Magic.
Enjoy !

Buck Rogers in 25th Century” TV show. (1979) I am standing in front of a multi-plane matte painting set-up. Painting is by Dan Curry who later went on to become a Visual Effects Supervisor and Producer on “Star Trek.” This kind of set up allowed layers of glass to slide and provide drifting cloud effects.
